Learner Success Coach

Our Learner Success Coaches (LSCs) are responsible for the success of our students. From the first intro call, to the very last lesson, our LSCs are dedicated to ensuring a rewarding language learning journey for every student.

What They Do:

Single point of contact for learner and family
Learner advocate
Engage (and re-engage) the learner
Administer the language policy/benefit
Identify each learner's needs, goals, and dreams
Understand past learning experiences and fears
Assist in teacher placement
Assist in learning path development
Assist in class scheduling
Obtain and share learner feedback
Customer service representative on the phone

Talent Success Coach

Our Talent Success Coaches (TSCs) are responsible for supporting, managing, and maintaining an ongoing relationship with our teacher network. They work with our LSCs to understand student needs and preferences, and match the right teacher with the right student.

What They Do:

Single point of contact for the teacher
Teacher advocate
Engage and manage the teacher network
Know each teacher's strengths
Lead teacher placement
Manage teacher quality
Lead teacher development
Assist in learning path development
Assist in class scheduling
Obtain and share teacher feedback
Assist in teacher payment

Recruiters

Our recruiters are professional unicorn finders. They find the unicorns and help build our network of world class teachers. If you need a German-speaking Swedish teacher who can teach technical (truck engine) Swedish vocabulary, they can find one (and have!). They've also found a teacher for the endangered, Indigenous language of Māori, in case you needed another example of how good they are.

Talent Qualifications

A passion for teaching is the most important prerequisite

  • Degree, advanced degree, or certificate in relevant field/language
  • Native speaker or fluency in the target language
  • Minimum of 2 years language teaching experience; instructors with corporate client experience given preference
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills required of all talent
  • Candidates are asked to provide examples of previous curriculum and teaching experiences
  • Ability to customize training based on client and/or learner needs
  • Required to provide professional references
  • Multilingual, multi-specialized talent and those with expat experience preferred
