Global LT, a leading provider of destination services, language training, cultural training and translation services, was honored with its third EMMA Award by The Forum for Expatriate Management for Destination Service Provider of the Year. The event was held on Oct. 4, 2013, at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.
“We are so very proud of the dedication our destination services team gives on a daily basis to our clients,” said Lisette Poletes, CEO of Global LT. “Winning this award for the third time is such an honor and speaks myriads about our service, our team, and our global positioning.”
Global LT has delivered its destination services and language services to global companies for almost 35 years. This is Global LT’s third Emma Award in the past three years. Global LT is also shortlisted for this same award for the EMEA region. That award event will be hosted in London on Nov. 8, 2013.
A panel of judges, representing all aspects of the mobility industry, selected Global LT to win the award from among a number of qualified entrants. Donna Lacey and Brett Edwards, of Global LT’s New Business Development team, accepted the award on behalf of Global LT.
The Forum for Expatriate Management was founded in October 2008 by Brian Friedman to address the myriad issues facing international assignees and their families moving from one location to another. The Forum provides an online community of International Human Resource and Global Mobility professionals that is inclusive in nature and open to both in-house and service provider professionals alike. Formerly the CEO of both Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen’s Human Capital practice, Mr. Friedman has worked in Global Mobility and Expatriate Management for more than 25 years.
